Thanks for sharing this Jessie. His smile was and still is contagious. What a nice tribute put together by his cousin. I smiled reading his blog about the DQ Cone experiences. Hugs and prayers from us. The Utah Hansen Family
Wow...this is so nice. I love that quote at the end..."If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy." I'm so glad that I was able to contribute to these memories.
Dear Jessie - What a beautiful tribute to Jamie. We thank you for making this available to those of us who loved Jamie but are so far away. We are in awe of your strength and unselfishness during this terribly difficult time. We are deeply moved by your words and the message of the video by his cousins. Oh how we loved him. Oh how we wish we could hold you. Our love and prayers are with you. We'd like to send a letter to you and his parents. What are the best addresses? -Rich, Cami, Jarrod, Caleb and Sara Smith in Japan
What a beautiful tribute to Jamie. It brought many tears as I thought about how he is gone and off to heaven without you. You are amazing jess, what you wrote below was beautiful. You are a great writer. Keep it up, get all those inside jokes and little snipits of your daily lives written on here so they'll stay forever.
Jess, This is Nate Egan. I was one of the missonaires who baptized Jamie. I am so very sorry for your loss, Jamie was a great friend and I am filled with sadness that I didnt keep in touch with him as much as I should have. I am curious to know when and where his funeral is. Call or write me if you can.
Thanks you so much and once again I am so very sorry. We lost of very great and loving friend
Jessie, thanks for sharing your sweet memories with all of us that loved him but are so far away. You are an amazing woman. His smile will always make us laugh. We wish we could be there for you. I am sure Jamie is watching over you. Love Dennis, Cathy, Jessica, Daniel, Meagan and Matthew Decker
Jess Thanks so much for sharing your memories of Jamie with us. We too loved your husband and he will be missed. I will always remember his smile and his kindness to my kids, he was truly one of a kind. Melissa Jones
Neal and Jamie were friends of a friend of mine. Although I didn't know Jamie personally, I do remember hearing the name time and time again when I was at Westwood. Any mention of his name was always accompanied by a lengthy explanation of his wonderful sense of humor and the effect he had on those around him. My thoughts are with you.
I've never been lucky to meet your dear husband, but now I have a small glimpse into what an awesome man he was. I love you Jess and am so grateful for the friend you were in High School. I always felt so lucky when people thought we were sisters. I'm trying to make it to the funeral, but if things don't work out, know I love you, miss seeing you (I always get updates on you from Angie over the years), and you're in my prayers.
Jessie- We are so heartbroken by your loss. I am so sorry for you but I appreciate your strength you have shown to our family. You and Jamie have beautiful testimonies. We love you and please let us know if there is anything we can do. XOXO
